Lace and Flowers at MDUC

Hello There:D

Yes Im late again by half an hour, but Ive such a good excuse..:D

 

What a great night ive had too....Even though we live hundreds miles apart Ive had such a girlie night with my dear friends from Scandinavia!!! Yes the Eurovision.

I had lost interest in this until I met (YES!!! Ive met) these amazing girls.♥ ♥ ♥

I havent really been into it since Bucks Fizz had won!!

Anyway back to my post,

Its a new challenge over at MDUC and the challenge is Lace and Flowers!!

Yeah your probably thinking you havent seen this Tilda before??!!

Neither had I until she popped through my door yesterday! :D

Well she must be from the next collection.....and I dont know what her name is,,but Im sure she will be something like Tilda in Veil with Dove ?? So very cute too

Midway Reminder at CLP

I was asked to do a Christening card so coincided both. Boy was it hard choosing which Tilda to use. But in the end I chose Tilda Princess with frog and the Stonepath.

Happy 14th Birthday Miss Sophie ♥

Today is my daughter ♥ Sophie's ♥ 14th Birthday.

I haven't made her a card for a few years, thinking she would be just fed up of them, but this year she actually asked for one.

I used my favourite image of the moment Princess Pea Tilda from the Once Upon a Time Collection.



 

I also was itching to use the new Pion papers Vintage Garden which Live and Love Crafts have in stock now. Beautiful papers as always. ♥

 Flowers are a mixture from Magnolia, Ribbon Girls and LLC

Dies are Doo-Hickeys Feathers, Tag  and Rose Leaf and Tim's Weathered Clock.

Whoops!! My late DT card for MDUC ♥

 Ive finally made it. My VERY late DT card to Saturdays MDUC Challenge.

How bad is that?? Ive never ever been late for any DT challenge yet. But the girlies are so good over at MDUC. Its all a 'no stress' team which is great. Anyway here it is. :D

and how could I miss this fabulous sketch by Kylie xx

For my card Ive used Tilda with Ballet Shoes from the Once Upon A Time Collection painted with Distress Re-Inkers.

Ive used Magnolia DooHickeys Peacock Feathers, Rose Leaf, Vintage Box lacing Coffee, Tilda's Tag and Vintage Tag 

 Fancy corner and Butterfly is from Airdry Clay and there's also a little Fragments and Frantage around the edges

Papers are Maja.

Add A Button At The Ribbon Girls

I hope you are all enjoying your Bank Holiday Weekend.

 

 

 

Today is a new Challenge over at the Ribbon Girls blog and we want you to add a button.

I made my project a couple of weeks ago for my ♥ Mum's ♥ 70th Birthday (though she looks more like 60!)

My Mum and Dad live on the canal side, so always have Ducks and Swans nesting in their garden. Its so beautiful and my Mum has much love for them.

So when Sandra showed me the Swan template, I knew it would be perfect

I did manage to sneak in a tiny button for the eye :D

Ive used 2 DooHickeys Flags and the new Flags from the new collection.

 All embellishments are from the Ribbon Girls shop. I have used Hip rose Buds Pink, Open Roses Pink, Ivory Tulle, 3mm Irridescent Ivory Bead String, 12mm White lave and Pearl Trim, 25mm Fuchsia Sheer Ribbon, Beaded Sprig White and 3 Stems irridescent hearts

For A Princess

 Hiya Everyone :D

Its a lovely bright day here today in the UK. Lets hope it stays a while hey!!

 

Today to share is a card I made with some of the new Magnolia 'Once Upon A Time Collection' for a special little lady.

I really enjoyed making up this little scene as Princess and the Pea was one of my favourite books when I was younger.

Here she is in her 4 poster bed with lush curtains all around.

Ive used Little Cute Tilda, Theatre Curtain and Mattress

All Watercoloured with Distress Inks

Papers are all Magnolia

Flowers are all a mixture from my stash. The beautiful Orange Roses and Green flowers were sent to me from my sweet friend Camilla

Other flowers are from the Ribbon Girls

Dies used were DooHickeys Feathers, Vintage Box Lacing Coffee and Tilda's Tag

Ive done something a little different for me and only used Dies.

For my card I have used

Anenome Antique Mauve,10mm Pale Pink Open Roses, Aster Ivory, Beaded Ivory Gypsophalia, Cheesecloth,

Pink Velvet Lace and Old Rose Pink Pleated Crushed Organza

Recycle at MDUC

 

Hiya I hope you are all OK :D ♥ 

 

It's Re-Cylcle time at MDUC this week.

 

Well I really feel Ive let the team down this week :/

Ive had such a MAD! day to say the least. My project was sooOOooo  last minute!! RUSH RUSH RUSH!!!

 

Thankfully Tilda was already painted as I did that the other night, otherwise I just wouldnt of made it, as each image takes me hours to Watercolour!!

 

 

For my Recycling I used a Recycled Paper Bag and Cola Cans...or in this particular case it was a Jack Daniels and Coke Can .... You can find my earlier Tutorial from a few years ago....HERE

 

 

 

I then coloured them using Alcohol Inks( Yes more alcohol!!!). I tried to colour the feathers as close to Peacock colours as I could.

 I was actually surprised how well the Doohickeys cut through the metal.

For the Butterflies I used Spellbinders

Doohickeys were Peacock Feathers , Envelope Edgers and Vintage Box Lacing Coffee

 

Tilda was Sweet Pea Tilda

Papers were also Magnolia

Turquoise Rose Ornament....so LOVING these,,,,also from the new Collection.

We couldnt just have two!!! When we saw who had entered......We had to have 4!!!!!
